Whispering Oaks Policies

• All cabins are SMOKE-FREE
• Check-In Time: 3:00 PM
• Check-Out Time: 10:00 AM
• Pets accepted with a $75.00 pet fee & $50.00 fee for each additional pet. Limit 2 with permission, except Cabins 10 & 11.
• Each Cabin has a stated maximum number of people allowed. Please let us know the total number of people at time of reservation. Unannounced guests will be charged extra and/or asked to leave.
• Deposit is required when making reservations to guarantee your cabin.
• Reservations are held for the days specified on confirmation. If you arrive late or depart early, you will be held responsible for those days.  Therefore, payment is due upon arrival.
• Cancellation notice is required with a 30 day minimum notice to receive a deposit refund minus $35.00. If the cancellation is received past 30 days, we will make every effort to rent the cabin. If successful, a partial refund may be granted.
• NO refund will be made on any cancellation received less than 7 days prior to arrival.
• We require a 30-day notice for one-time reschedule on any reservation. Deposit may be used minus a $35 rescheduling fee. NO refund will be made on rescheduled reservations.
• We accept Cash, Checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express. Payments made by credit/debit card will be charged a 3% processing fee.
• NOTICE:  When you book for the week, the 7th night is free. Six nights or seven nights are the same price.
• For your convenience, we sell fishing licenses, live bait, ice, charcoal and lighter, as well as candy. Our gift shop also has clothing, hats, mugs, souvenir items and handcrafted gifts.
• Please observe our maximum speed limit of 5 MPH for everyone’s safety. You’re here to relax – so slow down as soon as you turn into the driveway!
